Kingsoft WPS Update: Storage Optimization and 'Lingxi' AI Agent

On July 31, Kingsoft Office made its debut appearance at ChinaJoy. At the event, the company showcased its standalone AI office Agent Lingxi and its R&D-focused coding assistant WPS Comate, while also setting up a dedicated user feedback section.

On the same day, a new version of WPS Office was officially launched, featuring major updates including advanced storage management. Centered on optimizing C-drive storage, the new version delivers two primary improvements:

First, #WPS has introduced a unified "Storage Management" portal. Functions such as disk space visualization, cache clearing, and storage path adjustment—which were previously scattered across various settings—are now consolidated into a single interface. Second, installation paths can now be customized individually, giving users greater control over their local disk allocation.
