Rayhunter is an open-source project by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) designed to detect IMSI catchers, also known as cell-site simulators or stingrays. Originally created for the affordable Orbic RC400L mobile hotspot, it now supports multiple devices through community efforts. It is built to be extremely easy to install and use for individuals of all technical skill levels while focusing on minimizing false-positive detections.
