google-analytics-mcp is an experimental, official Model Context Protocol (MCP) server developed by Google Analytics. It enables large language models (such as Gemini, Claude, and ChatGPT) to securely connect directly to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties. Running as a local server, it uses Google Cloud Application Default Credentials (ADC) to ensure safe, read-only authentication. This allows AI agents to query GA4 dimensions, metrics, and configuration using natural language, making real-time traffic reporting, performance analysis, and data-driven marketing insights seamlessly accessible to LLM workflows.
